Before this book had an official title, the authors referred to it as the "horny dragon book," and...yeah. Every 100 years, the emperor must send a member of his family to be consort for a terrifying god known as the Dragon. The emperor wants the Dragon dead, but anyone who kills the Dragon will bring down a deadly curse, not only on themself but on their entire bloodline. So the emperor secretly adopts an orphan girl, Sachi, and raises her for this sole purpose. A second orphan, Zanya, is raised as Sachi's handmaid, but is actually a trained assassin - and Sachi's lover. The two women plan to use seduction to make the Dragon vulnerable enough to kill. But the Dragon is nothing like the monster they'd expected, and soon there's a whole lot of 3-way sex. The women would happily abandon their mission - but if the Dragon isn't dead within 50 days, a terrible curse from the emperor will take not only Sachi's life but her very soul.
